A.         iCAST Web

At this time, most of you should have received a letter from iCAST portal administrator informing the activation of your iCAST account. Please take a look of iCAST web site http://www.icast.org.tw/ , change your password, and pay attention to the followings:

1. Information: From iCAST web, you can find most iCAST related information including announcements, UCB/CMU local info, past/coming activities, iCAST Grant Acknowledgement Samples, etc.
2. Travel schedule: You must register all iCAST related trips here. This mechanism is designed for iCAST members and US partners to follow up these activities.
3. Meeting register (not active yet!): You will be asked to register the coming events, e.g. Kick-off in September. For coming activities, we will send you an e-mail and link you to register.
4. Your project home page (in construction now!): You will be responsible to update your project home page, including upload of the required documents. At the end of our project year, your project home page will be completed and so the iCAST project and its website, and we will be ready for the projects of next year. Currently, you should finish the “Statement of Work” and the long description (with 300-500 words).
5. Next due documents: Through the e-mails and web, I will remind you of the due documents and their due dates. The next one will be the white paper.
6. CMU & UCB partners: They will have access to iCAST to review VRF schedule and make contributions too.

B.         Coming Activities

1. All PIs (or representatives): Please prepare the coming 8/18 monthly meeting. We will inform you the details in separated e-mail shortly.
2. All iCAST members (especially, VRFs): You are invited to attend the kick-offs which are scheduled at CMU Sep. 11-12 and UCB Sep. 14-15. We will officially inform and ask you to register in coming weeks.
