Network Security Assessment Technology Development
| This project aims to develop advanced security assessment and defense technology. It covers the fields of security scanning & assessment, intrusion detection support and security information & event management. In the first year, the project team has developed the pilot systems of security assessment and IDS/IPS evasion test. For the second year, the work focuses on: |

| 2. | Web AP Exploit & Security Filter; | |
| 3. | IDS/IPS Probing in Live Context; | |
| 4. | Efficient Security Event Archive; | |
| The team is also devoted to the study of statistical learning for novel attack discovery. For long term, it is expected that all the developed systems and technology of this project can work together as a total solution for network security with competitive edge in the industry. To facilitate the progress, part of advanced research work will be executed by collaborating with outstanding professors of UC Berkeley and CMU. |
